§ Mr. Spearingasked the Secretary of State for Transport what are the numbers of crew-operated rear platform buses operated in Central London by London Regional Transport and the numbers he expects them to operate in each of the next five years.
§ Mr. David MitchellLondon Regional Transport's operating subsidiary, London Buses Ltd., currently has 1,044 such buses in passenger service, predominantly in central and inner London. A further 50 are employed on London sightseeing tours. The requirement in future years is an operational matter for LRT and London Buses Ltd. to determine.
