Whether they plan to renew the Pool Competitions Act 1971.

No. In line with the policy as announced in this House on 14th July 1983 and on subsequent occasions, my right honourable friend has decided that the Pool Competitions Act 1971 should not be renewed. The Act will therefore lapse on 26th July. The few organisations affected have already been notified
