Currently district health authorities have preliminary plans for two new district general hospitals and for 11 new community hospitals.

§ Mr. Ron Daviesasked the Secretary of State for Wales (1) in respect of land within environmentally sensitive areas, how many farmers have applied to enter into management agreements in each of these areas, and what is the total area of land involved; and how many agreements have so far been concluded with farmers in each of these areas, and what is the total area of land involved;
(2) if he will give the extent in hectares of the Cambrian mountains environmentally sensitive area, the total area of agricultural land within the environmentally sensitive area, and an estimate of the number of farmers eligible to enter into management agreements in that area.
