Friend the Secretary of State met his Spanish counterpart during the course of the Transport Council on 30 June and made it clear that he and his right hon. and learned Friend the Foreign Secretary were ready for urgent bilateral talks at any time. Officials have already held a first meeting, and further meetings are planned.
