§ Mr. Chris PattenThe voluntary agencies provide appropriate and very cost-effective aid to some of the poorest communities in the developing world. Our financial support for them has increased considerably in recent years. Decisions about next year's spending have yet to be made, but I look forward to being able to offer substantial support in the future.
