How many offenders sentenced to youth custody were accommodated in (a) prisons and remand centres, (b) police or court cells, and (c) youth custody centres at the most recent convenient date.

The readily available information is given in the table. The available information about prisoners held in police cells does not distinguish those sentenced to youth custody, but most are unsentenced.
