asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether, following the recent referendum, the Irish Government has ratified the Single European Act and, if not, when such ratification may be expected.

The Irish Government deposited its instrument of ratification of the Single European Act with the Italian Government in Rome on 24th June. The Single European Act therefore entered into force on 1st July.
