HL Deb 09 February 1987 vol 484 cc507-8WA
Lord Molloy

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will represent to the appropriate transport authorities the need to retain a two-man staff on those bus routes, such as the A207 in West London, which run through a succession of busy urban thoroughfares.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of Transport (Lord Brabazon of Tara)

Decisions on whether to operate buses with one-or two-person crews are entirely a matter for the operators concerned.
