HC Deb 02 February 1987 vol 109 cc515-6W
Mr. Ashton

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what plans exist for the future of Royal Air Force, Binbrook, Lincolnshire; how many civilians are currently employed there: for how long the base is expected to remain in use after the departure of the Lightning aircraft; and for what purpose.

Mr. Stanley

I cannot add at present to what was said by my hon. Friend the Under-Secretary of State for the Armed Forces at columns 1118–19 in the debate on the Royal Air Force on 22 January.

The number of civilians currently employed at RAF Binbrook is 109.
