HC Deb 02 February 1987 vol 109 c514W
Mr. Hind

asked the Attorney-General what change he proposes to make to the 1986–87 cash limits for Class XX Vote 22, Administration of Justice, Northern Ireland and the Northern Ireland court services' running costs limit.

The Attorney-General

Subject to parliamentary approval of the necessary Supplementary Estimate, the running costs limit for the Northern Ireland court service will be increased by £34,000 from £10,737,000 to £10,771,000, thereby increasing the cash limit for Class XX, Vote 22 by the same amount from £9,731,000 to £9,765,000. The increase relates to undertakers' charges in coroners' courts which are being transferred from the Law, Order, Protective and Miscellaneous Services, Northern Ireland, Vote —Class XVIII, Vote I—where there will be an offsetting reduction. There is therefore no net increase in public expenditure or aggregate running costs.
