§ Mr. FreemanFunds are already provided for the improvement of accommodation for service men in BAOR, and modernisation programmes both for single living accommodation and for married quarters have been running for some years. These are continuing and 655W although I would wish to provide additional funds to complete them more quickly they must compete with other priorities within the defence budget, and with other demands in the BAOR building programme.
