To ask the Secretary of State for Wales what projects of regional or national importance have been approved for Dyfed in each of the past five years and in the year 1988–89.

Since 1983 Dyfed county council has received one allocation for a project of regional or national importance (PRNI) of £0.9 million (1987–88—1989–90) in respect of the A4139 route 9 access road to the Pembroke dock enterprise zone. Preseli Pembrokeshire and South Pembrokeshire district councils have received allocations of £0.8 million (1984–85–1985–86) and £1.55 million (1984–85—1987–88) respectively for enterprise zones.

In addition, Dyfed county council has received a special project allocation in respect of Haverfordwest college of education of £3.930 million (1987–88—1989–90).
