§ Mr. PawseyTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science when he expects to issue to schools the video resource package on AIDS, which was commissioned in March.
§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend, together with my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales, has today launched the joint DES/Welsh Office resource package for schools on AIDS, "Your Choice for Life". The package will be sent free to all secondary schools with pupils in the 14 to 16 age range, to sixth form colleges, to local education authorities and to institutions providing initial teacher training. Since the package necessarily refers to aspects of sexual behaviour, it will be for the governing bodies of individual maintained schools to decide how, and indeed whether, the package should be used with their pupils. I am arranging for a copy of the package to be placed in the Library of the House.
