§ Lord James Douglas-HamiltonCapital allocations for housing are issued on two blocks, to cover expenditure on local authority stock and on the private sector. Glasgow district council's capital allocations in 1978–79 totalled £66.924 million. For 1987–88, the council has received allocations totalling £137–65 million, which represents 101.2 per cent. of the 1978–79 figure in real terms.
