§ Mr. DunnMy right hon. Friend has received, and is studying, the bid by Rotherham local education authority in respect of its plans for capital expenditure in 1988–89 and subsequent years. In addition, I met the hon. Member, his parliamentary colleagues and representatives of the authority in April; and officials have since discussed the capital situation. The points made at those meetings will also be taken into account in considering Rotherham's bid.
