§ Mr. Douglas HoggThe Crossbows Act 1987, which came into effect this year on 15 July, introduced controls on the sale of crossbows to, and the purchase and unsupervised possession of crossbows by, persons under the age of 17. We shall continue to keep under close review the need for any additional measures.
