§ Mr. AncramA great deal of monitoring and measurement of the acid status of lochs and rivers in Scotland is currently being carried out. The results of this work will appear in due course in various publications, in particular the report of the United Kingdom acid waters review group, which is expected in about 18 months' time. There would be no purpose in attempting to produce a list of acidified areas in Scotland before the publication of this report.
