How many voluntary projects have been funded in the financial years 1984–85 and 1985–86 under:

  1. (i) the Community Programme
  2. (ii) the Voluntary Projects Programme
  3. (iii) the Youth Training Scheme.

The information is not available in the precise form requested for the Community Programme. However, in March 1985 there were 3,360 community programme projects run by voluntary organisations and 4,560 in March 1986. The number of projects funded under the voluntary projects programme in the financial years 1984–85 and 1985–86 were 279 and 386 respectively. It is estimated that the number of YTS schemes run by voluntary organisations in the financial years 1984–85 and 1985–86 were 753 and 536 respectively.
