§ Mr. EggarAn unprecedented range of measures to prevent further acts of Libyan state directed terrorism and to defend ourselves against such threats were, as my right hon. and learned Friend told the House on 23 April, agreed on 21 April by the Twelve. We continue to work within European political co-operation and the Trevi group to ensure effective co-operation amongst the Twelve. On 4 October, the Twelve issued a joint statement endorsing the firm action taken by us with regard to Libyan Arab Airlines.
