§ 24. Mr. Ernie Rossasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will visit Dundee to discuss with local organisations measures to reduce unemployment.
§ Mr. LangMy right hon. and learned Friend has visited Dundee twice this year, most recently on 17 October when he met representatives of Tayside regional council. Dundee enjoys the full range of Government employment and training measures, and also benefits from other specific measures including development area status, the Tayside enterprise zone, and the Dundee project, all of which should assist levels of unemployment.
