HC Deb 21 October 1986 vol 102 c872W
Mr. Patchett

asked the Secretary of State for Social Services if he will itemise in the Official Report the number of patients within the Barnsley health authority awaiting ear nose and throat treatment, specifying urgent and non-urgent cases, (a) all cases, (b) cases on the list for more than one month and (c) cases on the list for more than one year.

Mr. Newton

A copy of the most recent publications of waiting list statistics is in the Library. It shows that at September 1985 there were no urgent cases on the waiting list for admissions to ear, nose and throat beds in Barnsley. There were 295 non-urgent cases, none of which had been waiting for more than a year.
