I have received no such representations recently.
We are continuing to promote vigorously to employers the code of good practice on the employment of disabled people. Over the next year, the Manpower Services Commission will undertake research into the numbers and characteristics of disabled people in the working population which will help us to decide whether the quota scheme can be made more effective.
