§ Mr. LangThe outlook for the United Kingdom economy as given in the autumn statement is for faster economic growth during the course of 1987 with inflation remaining at low levels. Scotland stands to benefit from faster United Kingdom and world growth because of the importance of the rest of the United Kingdom and overseas as markets for Scottish goods and services.
