§ Mrs. CurrieI fully recognise that domiciliary nursing services provided at night by community nurses can be an important element in helping to maintain physically disabled or elderly people in their own homes. These services exist in many parts of the country. However, it is for individual health authorities to decide for themselves both the level of provision, and the pace and direction of further developments, in the light of local needs and circumstances.
