§ Mr. Wyn RobertsChapter 5 of the annual report of the Welsh Water Authority for 1985–86, a copy of which is available in the Library, discusses sewerage. More detailed information is not held centrally and I have asked the chairman of the authority to write direct to the hon. Gentleman.
§ Mr. Wigleyasked the Secretary of State for Wales what progress has been made by the Welsh Office in trying to find a solution to the sewerage problems at Maes Gerddi, Porthmadog; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. Wyn RobertsI refer the hon. Gentleman to the Department's letter to him of 30 October 1986. The Department has since received correspondence from the solicitors of the Maes Gerddi residents' association requesting that the Department take no further action in this matter while negotiations continue. The Department is not involved in these negotiations.
