§ 42. Mr. Tony Lloydasked the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects to complete his internal inquiry into events surrounding the deputy chief constable of Greater Manchester.
§ Mr. HurdI have asked for the observations of those principally concerned with the investigation of the allegations against Mr. Stalker in order to inform myself 293W of all the aspects of the case and consider whether there are any lessons to be learned for the investigation of any future allegations against senior police officers. I am still waiting for the observations of some of those principally concerned.
