HC Deb 17 November 1986 vol 105 cc18-9W
Mr. Barron

asked the Secretary of State for Energy if he will publish information available to him on the simulator equipment used in training managers and staff of nuclear power stations, giving (a) the name and location of each simulator, (b) the date when the simulator became operational for training purposes, (c) the cost of the simulator, (d) to what extent the simulator reflects the reactors, boilers and turbines of the relevant power station, (e) the accuracy of the model of reactor behaviour and (f) the range of faults on reactor, boiler and turbine equipment that can be realistically represented on the simulator.

Mr. Goodlad

This is a matter for the generating boards. I have asked the chairmen of the Central Electricity Generating Board and of British Nuclear Fuels to write to the hon. Member.
