§ Mr. Michael SpicerIn April of this year my Department established a working group under the aegis of the United Kingdom search and rescue committee to 339W review rescue helicopter coverage of the United Kingdom search and rescue region, which includes north-west Scotland.
The group has considered written evidence and has held coastal meetings at Inverness and Lee-on-Solent to which interested parties were invited.
A report is presently being prepared to put before the United Kingdom search and rescue committee in December. 1 cannot anticipate its contents.
