§ Mr. Maxwell-Hyslopasked the Secretary of State for Social Services by what target date he expects that the National Health Service should be able to provide a three-yearly cervical smear test cycle along the lines recommended by the British Medical Association.
§ Mrs. CurrieThe recommended interval for cervical cancer screening is currently five years. This recommendation is under review and we will announce the outcome of that review in due course.
