§ Mr. MellorThe prison officers houses at Culcheth have not been valued. No reserve price has been placed on the 39 now for sale, since reserve prices are normally 263W applicable only when properties are auctioned. Formal tenders were not invited. The estate agents were instructed on 11 November to market the 26 houses then available. Negotiations for the sale of the 39 houses are proceeding on a private treaty basis. The contract will be awarded as soon as possible.
