§ Mr. Muddasked the Secretary of State for Transport on what date he received from Falmouth Container Terminal Ltd. the desk study carried out by Hydraulics Research Ltd. of the effects of a container terminal on the regime of Falmouth harbour; how the desk study will be evaluated; and by what date he anticipates reaching a conclusion on the implications of the study.
§ Mr. Peter BottomleyThe desk study was received in the Department on 9 April. Consultations on it with navigational interests and other bodies concerned are well advanced and we are taking independent professional advice on its conclusions. It is hoped to announce a decision shortly.
