§ Mr. Freudasked the Secretary of State for Education and Science if the Government have any plans to publish joint Department of Education and Science/Department of Health and Social Security guidance in relation to the completion of statements under the Education Act 1981, section 5; and if he will make a statement.
§ Mr. DunnGuidance is given in a joint circular (Department of Education and Science No. 1/83, Department of Health and Social Security HC(83)3/LAC(83)2) which is available in the Library. My right hon. Friends will alter or add to that guidance as necessary.
