HC Deb 22 May 1986 vol 98 c258W
33. Dr. Marek

asked the Secretary of State for the Home Department if, pursuant to his answer of 20 March, Official Report, column 269, the Home Office standing conference on crime prevention has produced a low-cost security package to protect residential dwellings in particularly vulnerable areas.

Mr. Giles Shaw

Part of the terms of reference for the Home Office standing conference on crime prevention working group on residential burglary is toprepare a low cost security package for inner city households".

The working group is currently considering this matter and will present a report at an open meeting of the standing conference on 18 November 1986.

In the interim, my right hon. Friend and I shall continue to monitor closely the progress of all five standing conference working groups through the ministerial group on crime prevention and at the second crime prevention seminar to be held on 23 June 1986 at 10 Downing street.
