§ Sir George YoungAt 30 April 1986 items worth approximately £1.55 million were held at Wembley, and at Milton approximately £6.2 million. In addition, the Crown Suppliers hold on an agency basis approximately £4.5 million worth of hearing aid equipment owned by regional health authorities and part of a DHSS stockpile of bedding and domestic items for use in emergencies.
