§ Mrs. ChalkerWe have agreed, both within the European Community and the Commonwealth, not to export oil to South Africa. Under guidelines which came into force in 1979, oil from the United Kingdom continental shelf is only exported to EC, International Energy Agency, and certain other countries with which a pattern of trade already exist. South Africa is not one of those countries.
