§ Sir George YoungI have today placed in the Library the latest version of the regular table showing total sales completed by local authorities in England betweeen 1 April 1979 and December 1985.
Dwelling Sales reported by Basildon district council and development corporation in each of the years 1980–81 to 1984–85 appear in the following issues of "Local Housing Statistics" which are available in the Library:

Issue number 1980–81 62 1981–82 63 1982–83 67 1983–84 75 1984–85 Basildon district council reported sales of 28 dwellings in 1979–80 and 104 in the first nine months of 1985–86. Basildon development corporation sold 762 dwellings in the period May 1979 to March 1980 and 341 in the first nine months of 1985–86.
