§ Mr. HayhoeThe following table shows the average hours of duty of junior doctors. Information is not routinely collected on the number of hours actually worked, but an independent survey commissioned by the Review Body on Doctors' and Dentists' Remuneration indicated a weekly average, in 1981, of 55.3. A further survey has been commissioned, but the results are not yet available.
