§ Mr. HowardThe research aspects of the project at Queen Mary college, sponsored by the British Rubber Manufacturers Association, into "combustion-modified" polyurethane foam are complete: a report should be in the hands of the sponsors by the end of this month. Development work is proceeding.
It is likely, because of higher cost and different specification procedures, that products developed from this research will find application in contract seating before they are used in domestic furniture.
