Mr. Tom Clarke

asked the Secretary of State for the Environment (1) what recent representations he has received about the incidence of build-up of static electricity in the Palace of Westminster; and what action he has taken in consequence;

(2) what has been the cost of (a) gas, (b) electricity, (c) oil and (d) other fuels for the Palace of Westminster in each of the last five years.
