§ The Prime MinisterI would have wished to attend Mr. Palme's funeral had it not conflicted with a very longstanding engagement in this country. Instead, my right hon. and noble Friend, the Lord President of the Council attended the funeral as the representative of the British Government.
I shall be reading the lesson at a memorial service for Mr. Palme later this week.
