§ The Prime MinisterThe decision on the revised proposals for a Guinness-Distillers merger will be taken by my hon. Friend the Minister for Information Technology, who will have regard to the advice of the Director General of Fair Trading, and the views of other interested Government Departments, including the Scottish Office and the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food.
