§ Mr. Deakinsasked the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs why moneys to subsidise the export of Westland helicopters to India are to be paid out of aid funds directly instead of under the aid and trade provision.
§ Mr. RaisonIn November 1983 the Government of India requested aid from our regular bilateral programme to them for the purchase of 21 Westland W30 helicopters and I considered and agreed the request on this basis.
