Member to paragraph 503 of the "Statement on the Defence Estimates 1985" (Cmnd. 9430) which explains the nature of the forward defence programme and the continuing process of adjustment to it. For these reasons, and because of the complexity of the programme, it is not possible to provide the informaion which is requested.
