§ Mr. David MitchellLocal authorities already have powers under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to restrict the routes taken through their areas by vehicles of any type, including coaches and other passenger-carrying vehicles. As with all aspects of traffic regulation, we shall keep an eye on the matter.
