asked the Secretary of State for Defence if firms in the rest of the European Economic Community will be able to tender for any refit of Her Majesty's yacht Britannia; and if he will make a statement.

I refer the hon. Gentleman to the statement I made to the House on 6 February at column 530 in which I confirmed that HMY Britannia would be refitted in the United Kingdom.
