§ Mr. Gordon Brownasked the Secretary of State for Scotland if, under public health legislation, there have been any reports to him in 1984, 1985 and 1986 of outbreaks of infectious diseases or salmonella poisoning in any of Scotland's private hospitals.
§ Mr. John MacKayI am informed that no such outbreaks have been reported to the communicable diseases unit of the Common Services Agency for the Scottish Health Service in any of the years specified.
