§ Mr. HowardThe Association of British Insurers has advised that there are at least 10 insurance companies who offer discounts of 5 per cent. or more from household insurance premiums for security precautions including alarm systems. Some companies among these are market leaders. In the light of the Government's initiative on crime prevention, I welcome this positive attitude on the part of the insurers.
