HC Deb 16 June 1986 vol 99 c433W
Mr. A. Cecil Walker

asked the Secretary of State for Northern Ireland if he has made representations to the Irish Republic regarding those occasions when bombs have been placed on trains while in the Republic of Ireland and which have subsequently exploded in the United Kingdom; and how many such incidents have occurred.

Mr. Scott

No such representations have been made. Although it is not possible to be certain of the circumstances in every case, I believe that four such incidents have occurred since 1977.
