Mr. Kirkwood

asked the Secretary of State for Defence what representations he has received from the church and nation committee of the Church of Scotland concerning strategic arms limitation.

I am not aware of any such representations having been received to date.

Mr. Tony Lloyd

asked the Secretary of State for defence what recent representations he has received about the military balance of advantage in strategic arms limitation.

In addition to questions in Parliament, the Ministry of Defence receives a considerable amount of correspondence and representations from groups and individuals expressing varied views relating to strategic arms control and its implication from the military balance.
