§ Mr. McNamaraasked the Secretary of State for the Environment if he will now reply to Hull city council's bid for 1986–87 urban housing renewal unit target funds for (a) Yorkshire Development Group, Maisonettes and Bransholme Court Estate, (b) Newtown Project and (c) Vertical Shelter Housing Scheme, Kinthorpe Orchard Park Estate.
§ Sir George YoungHull city council's application for the Bransholme estate has raised some difficult issues which are still under consideration. I expect shortly to be able to announce the decision on its bid for Newtown court estate. With regard to the Orchard park estate, I refer the hon. Member to the announcement made in my reply of 26 March to my hon. Friend the Member for Leicester, East (Mr. Bruinvels), at columns 500–501, which indicated the extent to which the proposals on the estate have qualified for targeted UHRU funds.
